The Convergent Architecture of the Qur’an

Feras Mansi, Ayah Labs

Preprint · March 2026

Summary

This paper examines five cases where independent scholars, working from different methodological traditions and without knowledge of one another's results, identify the same structural centers in Qur'anic surahs. The convergence of ring-composition analysis, surah-pairing studies, and prosodic analysis on identical pivot points provides strong evidence that these structures are features of the text itself, not artifacts of any single analytical method.

Key findings

  • Five convergence cases demonstrate that independent methods using incompatible frameworks identify the same structural centers.
  • Ring composition, surah pairing, and prosodic analysis independently corroborate pivot locations.
  • The probability of chance convergence across independent methods is negligibly low.
